East Poinsett County Schools Gymnasium Renovation
East Poinsett County Schools’ high school gymnasium is over thirty years old. Over the years, due to needs in educational spaces, it has received few upgrades to keep the facility competitive. The school determined they needed to either update the existing gymnasium or build a new one. Campus space limitations made building a new gymnasium without razing the existing one impractical, so the school chose to remodel the existing building interior. We found sufficient space within the existing facility to meet most of the school's needs. This project encompasses approximately 20,000 square feet of remodeling: painting, new bleacher seating, gym floor refinishing, locker room upgrades, laundry equipment replacement, and entrance lobby enhancements for less than one-fourth the projected cost of a new facility.
